Setting a Standard to Revive Self-Governance

Pt. 2 - Reclaiming the Authority of We the People--TOGETHER

Part 1 of this article, published Monday (9.18.23), discussed how and why the American election process is in trouble. A majority of voters do not trust the system to accurately reflect their collective voice, and to produce fair and unbiased results.

When the process lacks integrity, elections have no validity.

In California, one group, Election Integrity Project®California (EIPCa), is making huge strides in the fight to return California to a fair, honest and transparent election process worthy of everyone’s trust.

EIPCa is a nonpartisan nonprofit group of citizen volunteers who have paid close attention to the gradual, step-by-step passage of state election laws over the past decade that have eroded citizen confidence that California elections are fair, honest and transparent.

Our Election Integrity Project®California (EIPCa) volunteers have painstakingly gathered evidence without political influence since 2011. We focus on research involving

  • direct field observation of the practice of conducting elections and comparing the practice against the extensive California Elections Code and the federal election laws that govern elections.

  • intense data analysis of voter rolls and election reports.

EIPCa volunteers have researched the voter rolls in multiple counties (some multiple times), as well as VoteCal (almost yearly), the statewide voter registration database. The purpose is to assess whether the state is compliant with federal and state election laws governing list maintenance.

Since 2012, EIPCa election observation volunteers have diligently documented the failures at the core of the broken election system in California.

For almost 13 years, EIPCa has been reporting our findings to several levels of government, including the California Secretary of State, the federal Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security. Much of that documentation is on the EIPCa website.

When it became apparent that no one in authority intedded to take action, or even respond to our findings, we chose to pursue justice through the court system in order to escalate the level of seriousness of citizen’s concerns and to seek a just redress of grievances.

EIPCa has mountains of evidence, and there is an existing effort to expose the irregularities in elections across the state through the legal system.

EIPCa’s federal lawsuit challenges the constitutionality of over 20 California election laws. Defendants challenged our standing to prosecute such a suit.

  • The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in our favor and determined that EIPCa has standing to begin Discovery.

  • The defendants then filed a last-ditch effort to delay Discovery by filing a motion to dismiss.

  • EIPCa has asked the Ninth Circuit to expedite the process hearing briefs filed by the Defendants and the Plaintiffs (EIPCa).

  • In response, the Ninth Circuit agreed to move the opening brief from November 2023 to September 2023.

This is great news for EIPCa!

EIPCa’s mission, work and success

inspire HOPE to We the People.

Worthy of everyone’s attention are two documents that can be found on the EIPCa website.

One document, The Golden State Agenda, exposes the apparently deliberate erosion of election integrity in the state.

The other document, Overview Election Integrity Project®California, Inc., provides a summary of EIPCa’s efforts to expose the corruption of the elections in California and also provides an overview of EIPCa’s accomplishments.

Citizens in California’s toxic political environment cannot expect government officials to initiate and sustain an effort to reverse all the damage that has been done to our election system. EIPCa has taken up that burden.

Because lawsuits are expensive, we ask all Americans who believe in a return to the level of integrity that produces valid election results to support EIPCa with their frequent and generous donations.

Please also spread the word, and cover this effort in prayer.

The same efforts need to be made all across the nation.

Citizens must reclaim responsibility to hold elected government officials and government employees accountable for their decisions and actions.

Good patriots who believe in our Constitutional Republic must join with one another to participate in the process of fixing what has been broken and corrupted.

Good people must embrace once again the fundamental concept

that “We the People” are the government

and reclaim the authority of self-governance.

  • Good people must take full ownership of the election process in their respective counties and states.

  • Good people must break free from complacency, indifference or hopelessness.

  • Good people must vote, every time.

  • Good people must reclaim the right of self-governance.

Only then will “We the People” restore

the integrity that produces valid electoral results..

In doing so, we will revive the Republic.
