EIPCa Condemns the Atrocities Committed Against Israel

They are a reflection of the outrage welling up as we continue to watch and hear about the horrific attack on Israel and the atrocities committed against the Jewish people in Israel. We cannot and will not be silent.

It is shocking to the core to see that the history that unfolded during World War II is being repeated. The loss of human life at the hands of people who possess neither conscience nor a shred of humanity is beyond understanding. Our hearts cry with the families whose loved ones have had to face such horror…again.

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it!”

~ George Santayana (Spanish philosopher) -1905

At the close of World War II, the realization of atrocities perpetrated against the Jewish people, 6 million destroyed for simply being Jewish, should have been branded on the collective conscience of humanity. But clearly, the world has forgotten.

For years the education and media systems around the world have worked to remove from the memory of succeeding generations the truth of what Evil brought to the world during World War II from 1939–1945.

As a direct result, it is happening again. Recognizing the profound statement of Santayana as it relates to unconscionable acts perpetrated against humanity, Winston Churchill paraphrased Santayana’s words in a 1948 speech to the House of Commons, immortalizing the truth that “those who fail to learn from history are condemned to repeat it.”

Election Integrity Project®California (EIPCa) joins the voices of those condemning, in the strongest possible way, the actions of Hamas and anyone participating even behind the scenes in making this horrific attack possible.

“The ultimate test of a moral society

is the kind of world that it leaves to its children.”

~ Dietrich Bonhoeffer

We must ask ourselves what kind of world we leave our children if we, as united citizens, do not impress upon our legislators and decision makers that there is no excuse for simply speaking platitudes in response to the atrocities we are currently experiencing.

And as Americans, as decent human beings, we must be ashamed and outraged that any elected official of this country would express any excuse, explanation, support and especially celebration of what Islamic extremists are perpetrating on Israel today.

“Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless.

Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”

~ Dietrich Bonhoeffer
